A Teething 7 Month Old and A Potty Diva!

Well....Where should I start?

Jameson turned 7 months on the 21st. He has been home for about 4 months now. YAY!! Adding food into his everyday diet has been very difficult. Unlike babies his age, Jameson is unable to give me signs when he is full. Most babies would stop taking a bottle when they are full, but because I feed him thru the tube I have no idea when he has had enough. With that said, we have had way more throwing up because I am over feeding him. Doctors told me it will be simply trial and error. On the other hand, he is on track with his growing and still progressing developmentally. He is starting the process of crawling. He is able to full extend his arms while on his stomach and is tucking his knees under. He has also started teething. He has 3 teeth coming in. He has the upper canines coming in as well as 1 bottom tooth. I hope the top come in soon because I don't want him to look like a vampire baby.

Miss Ania is doing amazing. We are starting potty training again. We started before Jameson was born, but Matty and I didn't want to push her since I wasn't around. Today was Day 1 and I have to report it didn't go to well. LOL!!!! She told me that first, she needed her Dora undies not a pull up. Second, she didn't want a small potty she wanted to use the big potty. Third, she wanted skittles as a treat. After I met the little potty divas demands, she jumped off the potty the first time and told me "Geez Mommy, I dont like the potty but I want those skittles!" OMG, What am I going to do with this kid? Hopefully Day 2 will be better.

We love you all very much!! Til next time........

  1. when it came to potty training Olivia I tried doing the pullups but it wasnt really working even with little candy treats and stickers. so i read that a lot of people have a hard time training with them because they do work, they keep the child dry, and that some think that somewhere in that a child loses the connection between the feeling of needing to go and then going.

so what worked for me was just being in panties only. I wasnt sure at first but i thought worst case scenario Ill have to use my carpet cleaner, she peed her pants 2 times and that was it, by the 2nd day she was going on her own, i was shocked how fast she got it and that was over a year ago. I only used the pullups at nite just in case but she never woke up wet so we only did that a month, its amazing how fast they get it when they know what its like to pee in your pants and have people know :)
