So... now that I have gotten the hang of the Stay-At-Home mom/Extreme couponer lifestyle. LOL!! I have turned my well needed attention to this blog. I have decided to change the blog from all about Jameson to about Ania and Jameson.
We'll start with Jameson first. Jameson is 6 months old. He weighs 16lbs. 2oz and 28 inches. He is still refusing to take a bottle, but is eating food and drinks 2-4 oz a day of water from a regular cup. He still receives formula though his G-Tube during the day and at night via a feeding pump. If he continues to progress, he will only need the G-tube for another 6 months. YAY!!!
He has caught up developmentally and is doing everything a full term 6 month baby should do. He is rolling over, sitting and balancing by himself. He is trying to crawl, and is a big time talker. It's a major milestone because we were told he would be behind until about age 2.
We switched his reflux medication to Prevacid. It has been an absolute lifesaver. He hasn't had any reflux symptoms, and spit up is a thing of the past. He is still getting synagis shots once a month during cold season, and we are pretty much on lock down to keep him healthy. Doctors visits are becoming few and far between. We have Occupational Therapy every other week (was once every week). We see his Pediatrician twice a month (was once every week). Gastroenterology, ENT (Ears, Nose and Throat), and Pediatric Surgery we see every three months (was twice a week at one point).
Little Miss Ania is 2 1/2 years old now. She weighs 30 pounds and is the size of an average 4 year old. She is all about musical instruments, bubbles, dancing, singing, and her new telescope. She has finally adjusted to having Jameson home and having to share me. She loves to sit and watch T.V. under a blanket with him. They sit and talk to each other and she kisses him all the time. I plan to put her in school at 3 years old. We want to make sure Jameson is old and strong enough to handle all the school germs sge would bring home.
I will try to update the blog at least once a week! (fingers crossed). I appreciate all of you and thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. It is and has been a long bumpy road but the future is looking bright.
We love you all!!!
Go Niners!!!!
