Dancing Queen and Jameson Update

So, I have been so busy with the kids I haven't posted anything in a month. UGH! The kiddos watching March Madness with Dad,and it gives me a couple of minutes to update you all.

Ania is doing great. She is one smart little girl. She has been working with Grammy on her address, and knows all the turns to get home. She started dance class and loves it (video below). She likes tap more than ballet. We wanted her to be able to socialize with other kids because we have kept Ania from daycare to keep Jameson sick free. She is growing like a weed. Her 4T clothes are getting small. She'll be in 5T/ girls XS before she turns 3! She loves her little brother and is very protective of him. She stood in between him and the nurse, because she didn't want the nurse to give him a shot.

This week as been very hard on me when it comes to J. He had his last synagis shots, gastroenterology and developmental clinic. He was completed is round of synagis shots which means I am no longer on house arrest. They definitely worked because Jameson made it through the heart of cold season with not even a sniffle.

Gastro clinic went very well. They are pleased with his growth pattern. He is currently as of Monday, 18lbs 7oz and in 30 inches long. He has gone from newborn clothing to 18 month clothing in 5 months. They taught me how to change his g-tube out. It was actually pretty easy and wasn't as scary as I thought. The doctors and nutritionist decided to ween him off of his nighttime feeding pump. They are trying to have him sleep through the night like a normal baby would (wish me luck).
Developmental clinic was not what I planned. He passed all of his tests except for two. He was given a cup and a block. They were looking for him to clap them together. Instead, Jameson placed the smaller block into the cup, twice. They were surprised that he could do it, but failed him because he didn't do what they wanted him to do. They also took a bell and rang it behind each ear. He had no problem turning to the right but didn't respond to the left. They believe he has mild hearing loss in his left ear. He will do another hearing test to be sure. He will start physical therapy because they also believe his spine curves because he favors his right side. They call it NICUitis. Babies that are in the NICU to long favor their right side because that's where nurses are all the time. It was very hard because no mom wants to hear that something is wrong with your child. He's been through so much already, that I don't want anything more to be wrong It felt that they pointed out all he wasn't doing instead of all he is doing. What do you expect developmentally when the first 2 months of his life, he was sleeping because he was on high doses of morphine for pain. I wanted to tell them, Why can't you be happy that he's alive? He is clapping his hands, starting to wave, reaching for people to hold him, and he says "DADA, HI, HEY and I DID."

At dance class!
